The Story
In his niche industry, Dean Laumbach sort of does it all. He’s the guy you go to if you’re thinking of buying or selling a collector car, especially if it’s a Mercedes, and he’ll help you buy or sell it, too. He’s also the guy who will restore your car to the point where, as one of his clients describes it, you can “lick caviar off the undercarriage”. Needless to say, Dean cares about the details. And his old website wasn’t cutting it.

As Dean will tell you, his old website was trying to do it all as well but it was a mess. He was embarrassed to show his old website to new clients and stopped promoting it as it was something he didn’t want his named attached to.

To redesign his site and meet his standards, we first came up with a content strategy for Dean’s new website, simplifying all he does into three main services: Buy, Sell, and Restore. From there we filled in the details – but only as much as needed for people to get in touch and inquire further about all Dean has to offer. We also included a section on his site that lists current auctions Dean has going for his clients on eBay, which automatically updates on his website each time he updates his eBay profile – a huge time saver for Dean and a reason for users to keep visiting his website. Dean now has a site he is proud to promote and use to get more business.
