The Story
236 products across 22 different categories: Skinfit USA needed a site to show them all off. They also needed it to look like it still belonged to Skinfit Europe, where the brand is headquartered, while at the same time catering to a US market.
With the Skinfit team, I got to work cataloging all the products’ info – titles, prices, descriptions, additional descriptions, primary photos, additional photos, specs, sizes, variations, and inventory – while designing a clean look-and-feel. We stripped down all the old boxes and borders (see screenshots of the old site below) to make the site feel lighter and more sophisticated, focusing instead on beautiful typography and new photography to make the products stand out among the competition.
The new site launched with a 59% increase in profits during its first month, compared to the same month the year before.
