TN Multisports Website
What They Offer:
A triathlon club for new and experienced triathletes in and around Seattle; sport-specific coaching services, clinics, group workouts, training gear; community.
What They Needed:
Club founder and director, Teresa Nelson got in touch with me with a clear mission for her website: “We need something fresh and new. Alongside this someone to help us with regular updates (or teach us). Would love to discuss further.”
I got to work collaborating with Teresa and her husband Mark on outlining a strategy for their refreshed website, starting with the structure. We updated the sitemap, really focusing on creating content that felt alive and active, like the club itself. We focused on participation and building a stronger sense of community, encouraging people to sign up for an annual membership. We also also found ways to free up time for Teresa and Mark, especially in how they process new memberships.
TN Multisports now has a fully-functioning online store, handling the entire process of selling and renewing annual club memberships, so Teresa and Mark can focus on other aspects of their business (or spend more time with their daughter!). The new site also sells club gear like jerseys and water bottles, À la Carte coaching sessions, and event tickets to things like group workouts and clinics – all of which Teresa and Mark can easily update/offer themselves. With website training, Mark and Teresa also learned how to update their new Club Calendar, which keeps content on the Home page fresh and their club members easily informed of everything going on – building that sense of community.
Before the Redesign
Browse through screenshots of the original website, which felt outdated and a stale – the exact opposite of all the club has to offer: a lively, upbeat community and resources for multisport athletes.
