The final logo uses only the essentials: no graphics, no icons, no unnecessary imagery.

Only one font family is used with 2 variations – regular and bold– Regular to introduce Chris Vargo, the athlete behind this whole site; Bold to focus on the name of his brand, Vargo Running, and a play on the forward slash to represent running and motion.

The simple use of color was used to depict a race start (red is often associated with stopping/being stopped as well as an increasing heart rate – learn more) and running off into a distance.
